Shay Pendray is a prolific instructor, designer and author widely recognized for her contributions to education in the needle arts. She is most well known in cross-stitch, embroidery and needlepoint and owns her own shop in Dearborn, Michigan.

The Needle Arts Studio has been in production for many years (currently in its eleventh season) and airs on public television stations nationally. This well-produced how-to show shares the joy of the needle arts to millions of viewers. Skein Lane invites you to watch Shay’s show and learn something new while supporting the needle arts.

In each series Shay features segments on all the needlearts including knitting and crochet. This exciting series airs locally on KCSM Public TV Sundays at 4:00 pm.
