Donations & Charitable Organizations
Many local and national organizations regularly serving those in need have expanded their efforts to include donations and relief for hurricane survivors. The organizations below generally accept donations of knit, crochet or quilted items to help those in need. Please advise us if there are other organizations you would like to see added to our list.

Collects gifts of handknit socks, scarves and afghans to Dine' (Navajo) elders. Also accepts contributions toward yarn used by elders to make rugs for sale. |

| Woodywoof Project |
Provide hand-knitted blankets to infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, and to children and teenagers with long hospitalizations and chronic illnesses. |
