| It is always a pleasure to spend time Melissa - a great person and knitting instructor. She has so much to offer all of us. She has been a guest instructor for Skein Lane in 2008 and 2006. We are hopeful that she will join us again.
Retreat - Fall 2008
Melissa was our guest instructor for our annual knitting retreat.The enthusiam was high for this year's retreat. Melissa planned a beautiful pillow project for us: we learned how to knit the special increases and decreases required to make the circular elements in the cables, then we knit the front and back and finished with a great i-cord edging for it. One of us finished her pillow with a fabric back which looks just great

Melissa's classes - Basic Pattern Drafting, Celtic Cables, Nifty Necklines, and Crochet for Cowards - were so empowering. Melissa is a wonderful instructor - full of energy, enthusiam, clear instructions, and the ability to enthuse all. Each of us who participated in her classes walked away with new skills and needles clicking away.
