| Mom did not knit! She said, "I just don't get the fascination!" While she did not have the knitting "addiction" like her daughter, she was always there with a helping hand. She worked in my retail store two afternoons a week, diligently twisting Paternaynan needlepoint yarn from 1/4 pound skeins into twists. That gave her a chance to see her daughter's business and to make new friends. Everybody loved my mom - she was a bit of a Lucille Ball character. She spent her other days helping one of my nieces with her growing family of two girls. She is forever in our hearts! |
